The Brief
Mapi Pharma needed a 6,000 m² commercial production and R&D facility in the Har Hotzvim Hi-Tech Park, Jerusalem: GMP cleanrooms, testing laboratories and offices, built in parallel by many disciplines, to local regulations and a tight schedule.
What We Did
- Cleanrooms (3,000 m²): supervised construction and engineering integration of the cleanroom suites, including the air handling units, airflow balancing, the differential pressure cascade and the cleanroom finishes.
- Laboratories and offices (3,000 m²): managed design, build-out and systems coordination of the R&D and QC laboratories and the office areas.
- Permits: handled the approvals with the Jerusalem municipality and the fire authority, including fire detection and suppression certification and the business license.
- Construction management: directed the contractors on site, coordinated the utilities (electrical, gases, process piping) and enforced QA and safety throughout construction.
Result
6,000 m² of shell space turned into an operating, GMP-aligned production and R&D facility, with the regulatory approvals in place.
